The French research station Dumont d'Urville is located on the Île des Pétrels in Adélie Land in Antarctica (66°39'46"S - 140°00'06"E).

In the Antarctic summer the station is inhabited by approx. 30 persons. HCHO and H2O2 are measured to gain information about the oxidative capacity of the atmosphere at this site using the continuous monitors AL2021 and AL4021 from Aero-Laser.

The instruments are located in a container remote of the station to prevent contamination due to the station.
